What kind of chocolate do you use in the bonbons?

At Bonbonbook, we use only the finest Valrhona chocolate, along with carefully selected ingredients, so you can enjoy the highest quality chocolates.

Do your chocolates contain gluten?

Some of our chocolates contain gluten, such as those with speculoos or other cookie ingredients. While we do our best to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that our chocolates are completely gluten-free. Always check the ingredients list if you have a gluten allergy.

Do your chocolates contain nuts?

Yes, we use nuts like hazelnuts and almonds in various chocolates. Even though we offer nut-free chocolates, cross-contamination cannot be completely ruled out because all chocolates are made in the same environment.

Are your chocolates halal?

Yes, almost all of our chocolates are halal. We use halal gelatin in our products, with the exception of the alcohol-based chocolates (such as Sea Buckthorn, Caramel, and Nobel). If you only want halal chocolates, please indicate this in the order notes, and we will send a replacement chocolate for the alcohol-based chocolates.

Are the chocolates vegetarian or vegan?

All our chocolates are vegetarian, meaning they contain no animal products like gelatin or meat. However, most of our chocolates are not vegan, as they contain milk or other animal ingredients.

We don't currently offer a fully vegan range, but if you're looking for vegan options, please contact us and we'll be happy to help you find suitable chocolates.

What is the best way to store chocolates?

To maintain the quality of your chocolates, it's important to store them correctly. Store them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and strong odors. We recommend not refrigerating them, as this can affect their texture and flavor. For more information on storing chocolates, see our storage tips page .

Order

How can I place an order?

You can easily place an order through our website. Select the products you want, add them to your cart, and proceed to checkout to enter your details. Follow the steps to complete your payment, and your order will be processed.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We process orders as quickly as possible to ensure your package arrives as quickly as possible. Therefore, it's important to inform us of any changes as soon as possible. Please call us at +316 - 191 053 37 before 12:00 PM on weekdays so we can respond quickly.

Please note that changes are only possible before this time, as the order may already have been shipped. If you need to make a change over the weekend, please email info@bonbonbook.nl with your order number, and we'll do our best to process your request.

Order chocolate in warm weather?

To guarantee the quality of our chocolate, we don't ship it during warm weather. Therefore, we can't guarantee delivery times for our bonbons temporarily. We won't ship chocolate again until the temperature drops below 21 degrees Celsius throughout the country.

Pick up order
Of course, you can always come by to pick up your order. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask; our door is always open!

Once your order has been shipped, you'll receive a track & trace email. We'll keep you updated!

Can I have an order sent to a different address?

Yes, you can enter a different delivery address during checkout. This is ideal if you want the chocolates delivered as a gift. Please ensure the address is correct to avoid delays.

How can I place a business order?

Want to order chocolates for your business? Contact us for more information about corporate orders. We can help you with custom orders, gift wrapping, and other business needs.

What should I do if I have a problem with my order?

If there's something wrong with your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We're ready to help and offer a solution, whether it's damaged products, an incorrect item, or other issues.

Can I track my order?

Yes, once your order has shipped, you'll receive a tracking number to track your package's progress. This will be emailed to you.

Didn't receive confirmation of your order?

Sometimes, you might not see a confirmation in your inbox. If so, check your spam folder to be sure. Also, make sure you've entered your email address correctly so you don't miss the confirmation and track & trace code! If this happens, you can always email us, and we'll send you a track & trace code.

Deliver

How quickly will my order be delivered?

We strive to deliver your order as quickly as possible. In most cases, your order will ship within 1-3 business days. Once your order has shipped, you'll receive a tracking number so you can track your delivery.

Can I change my delivery address after placing my order?

If you need to change your delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we can change the address for you. Unfortunately, it's no longer possible to change the address after it's shipped.

What should I do if my order hasn't arrived?

If your order hasn't arrived within the expected delivery time, please first check the status of your delivery using the tracking number you received. If there's a problem with the delivery, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

Can I have my order delivered to a different address?

Yes, you can enter a different delivery address during checkout. This is useful if you want to send a gift or have a different delivery address.

How will my order be packaged for shipping?

We ensure your order is carefully packaged so the chocolates arrive in perfect condition. Our packaging is designed to protect the chocolates during transport.

Do you ship abroad?

Yes, we ship internationally. If your preferred country isn't listed, please contact us by email at info@bonbonbook.nl.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept various payment methods, including iDEAL, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and Klarna (pay later). You can select your preferred payment method during checkout.

Is it safe to pay online?

Yes, VAT is clearly stated on your invoice. This is helpful if you're purchasing the chocolates for business purposes.
